Just like the title says to piggyback tocosos idea on npc crew I say battleship class or close to capital class should be the biggest ship you fly but it has to be manned by crew your the cAptain and everyone else is under you so yes crew shouldn’t die I like the idea of having to renegotiate contract but as they’re crew of your big ship they serve without dying you can even assign them to gunners maybe you get these ships at capital docks through the shipyard but you’ll notice that your cockpit is now a bona fide capital class bridge these capital class docks would not just sell you these ships, they’d also sell exclusive weapons and internals
