WE NEED RECEIPTS/RECORDS of ARX PURCHASES

So I am sure I purchased a limited edition paint job during the black Friday event but I can't find it in game so naturally I decided to check my purchases just to confirm my belief and that's when I discovered that there are no records. The Frontier store only records cash transactions and I can't find any receipts in my email so as it stands this transaction system is heavily biased in Frontiers favour as the purchaser has no evidence that a purchase was made. I have 20 ships on 2 accounts and I cannot recall all the extras I have purchased. This is extremely unfair on us as, should a dispute arise, we do not have a leg to stand on. I have submitted a ticket.

Somewhere here on the forum somebody posted a link the other day that you can use to view your ARX account transactions. I'll see if I can find it...

EDIT:

Yes but you can't see what the Arx was spent on, i.e. no proof of purchase - you just have a hexadecimal-based transaction reference, no indication what it was for.

So yes we do definitely need receipt / proof of purchase information for the made-up pretend money transactions as we actually paid real money for those "tokens". I assume there is some legal requirement for consumer protection purposes and hopefully some bright LLB will give Frontier a sharp reminder to get its act together on this. (Some hope - snowballs orbiting Hades seems much more likely.)

I know it sounds crazy, but could you have a client side handle in your journal and a portal based one?

Since Arx is pure fiction and a representation of money (i.e. it holds no bank details) could you have something like:

08/12/2019_10:00_Arx_balance_1000

09/12/2019_10:02_Arx_purchase_shinyskin_650

09/12/2019_10:03_Arx_balance_350

So you can hook it into INARA (or some 3rd party reader)

As well as have the same 'log' in the portal, a bit like a bank with more detail:

Arx balance: 350

Arx Purchase history:

09/12/2019 shinyskin (650 Arx)

Not sure giving any accounting data out to external sites is a good idea, even if ARX is only fictional money.

Getting ARX into the game nearly broke it.
I don't want to know which details will be open for all to see if FD implements this 😂

I think resistance will be more about shame buying certain kits or paints.

I mean, I'd rather be caught buying Aisling Duval nudes then discovered buying this:

It's crazy that it is 2024 and that ARX list still shows hexadecimal code that doesn't mean much to the buyer.

The issue isn't that it is a hexadecimal code, it is that there isn't a list of what the codes mean. Arx purchasers could compare notes and compile such a list if the codes relate to specific items.

FDev support is able to retrieve that list for you although it shows EVERYTHING, free paintjobs, other stuff you bought through the ARX store like books.
Not necessarily cosmetics you bought.

damn i spent loads of ARX on prebuilt ships and now they are all on sale. Would Frontier give me ARX back based on the price changing on me? What are the chances?

I would be surprised if they do, they regularly cycle the discounts so if you check, I believe every two weeks, you can buy things you like when they go on sale.
You have to wait and it may never go on sale so it's really up to you if you feel like waiting :)
