That was mentioned as a bug, they aren't meant to do that, no doubt they will work hard and have it fixed for Phase 4, or the Beta, or live, some time anyway!

When it happened to me the one time I tried such a mission at a crash site I was able to remove it by switching tools.

The tool I used was the rocket launcher.

That might not be a good plan in a settlement.

You think that's good? An entire satellite disappeared when I cut the panel today! The panel fell clear to the ground tho.
