And this challenge... I can't imagine it would be that hard... just make a park on Nublar, build a bunch of hatcheries, equip them with speed boosts or hatchery capacity boosts, and keep hatching Stegosaurus's...

Just remember, it's a community goal not an individual one. No one is expecting anyone personally to release 25,000 Stegosauruses all by themselves
If one file could hold that many, people might be silly enough to try it out.
25.000 stegosaurus(es) in one park, it will be very laggy. Lol.
Even spread out over several saved games, I think it won't be a good thing for an avarage computer.
I think the game only allows 999 dinosaurs of a species because the dinosaur code only has three digits. if you can get 1000 or even 10000 would be cool to see.
That makes sense, I wasn't aware of a limit other than what your computer could handle.
And I agree, how would Isla Nublar look with at least 999 Stegosaurus?
Simples. Park a hungry Indominus, just outside the gate.
