We really need a Primate Animal Pack

In the last two DLCs we lost the opportunity to get NW monkeys and now our dreamed baboon.

I believe that get these primates in biomes/regions packs becomes unlikely, so a pack just about primates would be the solution to get them
I feel like a full pack of this would only sell well to us forum users and not the general audience. But at least we need 9ne in all future packs.

I'm not even a vocal primate enthusiast, and I'd be 100% down for a Primate animal Pack.

Hamadryas Baboon
Aye Aye
Red Howler Monkey
Black Howler Monkey
Squirrel Monkey
Black Headed Spider Monkey
Emperor Tamarin
Golden Lion Tamarin

I know that's 8 and no exhibit animal but I have no idea. These would be the 8 I'd pick.

I think Frontier will eventually start switching to type packs once they exhaust options for biome/geography themed packs.

I think Reptiles, Primates, Birds have a real chance.

I would be excited for all, especially the first 10:
Golden Lion Tamarin (my fav) or more tamarins in a WE
Geoffroy's Spider Monkey
Mantled Colobus
Black Howler Monkey
Common Squirrel Monkey
Hamadryas Baboon
Grey Langur
Golden Snub Nosed Monkey
De Brazza's Guenon
Red Shanked Douc (my fav old world)

Patas Monkey
Barbary Macaque
Lion Tailed Macaque
East Javan Langur
Coqueral's Sifaka
Aye Aye
Red Uakari
Mangabey
Tarsier
Wolf's Guenon

A monkey pack would have so much potential for variety and balance the roster!

My perfect Primate Animal Pack

1. Spider Monkey
2. Howler Monkey
3. Mantled Guereza
4. De Brazza's Guenon
5. Squirrel Monkey
6. Golden Lion Tamarin
7. Hamadryas Baboon
8. Exhibit?

I said before at least two monkeys from SA and Africa each are essential to me, plus a Baboon species with hopes that potential Highlands pack bringing Gelada. Other is just bonus for me, so let's go for the two very popular choices in both real life zoos and here in community

Ugh... please no... it's bad enough we basically got an African Desert Ungulates pack... adding more ultra specific packs will just add to the problem. Also, it'd mean turning a monkey into an exhibit animal, and that's all kinds of yuck.

Last part is challenging, yeah I agree with that.

But I don't have problems with over specifying the pack if it calls for it. We're lacking behind on Monkeys while some other types of animals are better represented, I say there's place for this kind of pack.

It's not a problem to cram a pack of full of same thing if that thing is needed, my take

Two howler monkeys seem a bit too much, especially when we don't know how long support will go on.

I will quote myself from another thread also using the word primate in the title:
I think it is important to express monkeys is what we need. Not primates in general.

Great apes almost got the big cat treatment.
Lesser apes are fine represented with 2 species since most of the species are rather similar and covers the same areas.

Within lemurs there is a decent amount of diversity to cover, but 3 species seems alright since they are all from the same island. Getting more species might be nice, but is not important.

But when it comes to monkeys we have barely touched the surface, and are far behind when it comes to reaching a satisfying representation.

If we keep saying primates instead of monkeys then we risk ending up with a 2nd orangutan, a 3rd gibbon and a 4th lemur and that won't get us anywhere.

If we talk about the possible animal packs with taxonomic groups, I think it could be about birds and primates, since they are underrepresented animal groups in the game.

If the Frontier is really reluctant to do the make exhibit birds, then they can still do the habitat birds! For example, it is not difficult to make a White stork from a Red-crowned crane.

While I don't see much hope for a pack like this (except perhaps a reptile house DLC or anything with birds/aquatics which I don't see happen), I would love a primate pack. After all, there is at least one specific zoo in my country focussing on primates and they are important species in most zoos anyways.

For an exhibit species, I would suggest the slow loris. They would function kinda like the sloth and can be used complementarily in nocturnal houses.

The lemur roster does feel complete imo but if Frontier needs any "throwaways" they could add the aye-aye, one sifaka, and one Eulemur species to solidify the lemur roster.

I don't have much expectations for New World monkeys since most species are rat-sized/smaller than a prairie dog. Doable species are howler monkeys, sakis, a second species of capuchin. I could see spider monkeys coming up but not as soon as we expect since it might need a new animation (brachiation with tail.) We may get a capuchin as a throwaway which may cross off some people but I don't oppose a second capuchin.

Old world monkes is the highest priority for me. We need one guenon, a baboon, and a colobus. Colobus (spacifically guareza) may take some time due to the mantled back fur it has. Once we have the aforementioned old taxa, a second macaque, a mangabey, and a langur are great choices to solidify OW monkeys.
