We really need half walls

What the title says. Building without half walls can be so difficult. When you only need a wall piece that's half the length of the regular sized ones, you're kinda SOL unless you use plaster or something else with extra building pieces. Plaster is fine, but it gets kind of boring after a while. I'm trying to build a mud hut right now as a shelter, but it's proving impossible without half walls. The regular ones are just too long for my purposes.

Yes it seems odd that they'd do these pieces for some sets and not others. The same goes for certain roof shapes as well, and other odds and bobs such as trimming, columns, and so on.
I know what you mean. I needed a Piece to place under the Roof of my Asian Plant House and I needed to use a Glass Piece from the Classic Theme even though the Rest of the Building was made out of the modern Set (and the classic Piece is way thicker than the other Glass Pieces). We also should get Stone Versions of all Animal Statues because the glowing Polar Bear looks a little bit out of Place in the big Animal Fountain at the Entrance where every other Statue is made out of Stone

Totally agree, it's one of the things I don't understand at all. I get that some building sets have parts that others don't have because they're special, but all sets should have the same basic building pieces like walls with 1-4m width and height as well as all roof shapes and trims to fit that theme.

It gets really frustrating when you have so much freedom to build stuff on one hand and are then limited and backed into a corner by restricting game mechanics (obstructed anyone?) and missing basic pieces that can't be replaced by anything else ingame.

I completely agree, I was a builder in Cities Skyline for many years and have been thwarted here constantly not having 2MM walls, roof and floors. It would be an amazing addition to the game as would be the small corbel pieces that were in planet coaster for fill in.

I should have added that all the limestone trim pieces are also 4M's, guess were using colored Asia planks again for trim on this new project. I guess I just don't understand why this game has this big blocks approach to building, so regimented to their strategy and architecture.

I hope there is some developer looking in, so they can see what your up against with a simple 45, it's impossible to join the trim and get anything that looks good, so often your forced to cluge it and run the trim up to a corner post. The other option is to use planks as trim. Wish I knew what color matches that limestone better.
