We should be able to use Seismic charges on planetary outposts

For science of course.

Actually, did anyone in beta try ramming some of these charges up a ship's tailpipe? Or on Thargoid bases? For science?

When NPCs and stations don't react to Thargoids, players even get fined for firing at them, I am at this stage happy, if they are working as intended for their main purpose.

Hahhaha! In an age when we can (tomorrow, all being well..) scan a planet using a few well placed probes, I find it suddenly intolerable why we cant blow-up said planet with a few well placed seismic charges.

And given how intolerable and unjust that is, it seems improbable that every last planet and outpost hasnt already been blown up by a millenia of salty boiis.
If only fdev had thought this through properly from the kickstarter, they could have saved themselves all the trouble of creating Stellar Forge, and just modelled a floating ring of debris. The gameplay wouldve been to find an intact planet that was yet to be exploded, somewhere far distant in the galaxy. in order to explode it..

Perhaps, but with the new lighting engine, I think you'll find the planet shot first..
