Everyone's hiding behind glasses. Not my idea of radiating confidence.
They are confident their eyeballs are protected from those harmful UV's
Why are trendy librarians and organic juice bar owners piloting your ships?
I'd savvy some nice Great War style Windsor glasses, but unfortunately I have 25/20 vision in both eyes. 
The irony is that I wore glasses when I was a kid in elementary school, but my eyes were such that my vision got better with the aging process.
At least I got to wear some nice 80's engineer style glasses for a while, kind of like the character Alan in the movie Tron.
Maybe when I'm 80:

My mind first went to a movie character, Dennis Taylor was the manager at All American Burger in the movie "Fast times at Ridgemont High.
I wonder what happened to the humankind to have such facial deformation in the future.
