To any explorers out there this is a call by purple central industries in the pand solar system for explorers to bring their exploration data from all over the universe to us. The faction we represent is after as much data about the universe as u can bring. This will be used for our factions later expansion once we expand being a one system minor facton in control of 2 stations to a small empire taking advantage of the 40 terraformable worlds very close to our hub here on the fringe space

Rare traders will also recieve full price for bringing rare goods from all over the universe to us.

We have grown fat on millions of credits of pallaidium exports and have funds to spare to pay for information and rare goods.

Ive just solved 150 systems worth of data to the faction up here and didnt have any dramas, have talked to 3 other people who arent having the issue, so i guess that bug is restricted to a small % of pilots If u are having it then yes u are right, but to everyone that is able to sell data, the request remains

I really don't want to ruin your roleplay but when you sell exploration data you are selling to an organisation, Universal Cartographics, and not the station/faction.

Explorers turn in their exploration data into purple central industries in the pand solar system. U get the usual payment. And hopefully over time this interacts with the background simulator in terms of ingame events, community goals, missions and expansion to new solar systems and trade data interaction as well, the devs have said where u turn the data does have an influence on the background simulator. But its a black box they dont like to discuss to much. So im just waiting to see if we can get a lot of data what impact it has over time.

if u wish to acquire some cheap gold silver and other metals they rae dirt cheap up here, for a return haul after people drop off their exploration data caches

I've kinda been working in the Erlik sector seeing how this place grows but this sounds interesting also, especially if you get a good turn out..hmmm...

Selling it does increase your influence with the faction controlling the station you are at though. Try selling a half-million credits worth or so sometime and see what happens. ;-)

well purple central industries is at 85% a side effect is we will probbaly trigger a expansion state again, but this is moreso for the exploration data that peeps are bringing back, we are an indepdant faction so theres no major power factional outcomes here. But we have 8 terraforming candidate planets in pand alone ( thats almost the most in any settled system) as well as unexplored space nearby, and if we cn get enough it might trigger a community goal event to. But also for later down the road when the devs implement a stronger background simulation
