Its a matter of fact that up to now ALL poeple which i did introduce this game so far, their first question war if its possible to land on earth and they did EXPECT that i show them. Then i saw their disappointment in their faces when i had to tell them that this is not possible.
I really cant follow that "argument" that this would be too hard to achieve. sure, a class-m planet is more complicated to render as a Planet without atmosphere (hmm, why exactly we cant land on the moon?!), but on the other hand, there are plenty of games who offer open worlds. and dont tell us something about gravity. the gravity on space station isnt correct too. in theory if you fly on the side of the rotating station you should crash because the ships are no planes.

and yes in the stations is athmosphere since you can breath there when flying into one. so since FD already violated some majow physics rules, why not violating them a lil bit to enable landing on athmosphere planets too? like the mars?
however, there are lots of way to implement "walking on earth" and landing on earth and since the got a big finance injection from china and the staff, i dont see why they cannot offer it. Dont forget that we already talked about this a couple of years ago.
