Weak Signal Source in the Black

So I am now approx. 1200LY out and have come across some weak signal sources. Anyone ever investigated these? If so what have you found?

It was a few systems (maybe 600LY out) in the COL Sector. Have not seen one in a while though. I had meant to post this question earlier but forgot.

If it feels like it was about 600ly out, then there is a good chance it was within the 500ly range/limit for weak signal sources....I think its 500ly, could just be rumour

Signal sources are there for you to investigate. You SHOULD find something in each type...sometimes good..sometimes..well, I would say watch out fro traps!

In my experience weak signal sources are always safe to investigate. We have been told there are things for explorers to find.
Be brave and find something new.

It's almost always a freewinder puttering about or a wreck with salvage canisters. Once you get 2kly out, no more WSS. So it's all very formalized and not super mysterious.

Thank you, I was wondering what they were but just did not have the curiosity to check 'em out.
