Wealth change?

So if i build a tourist installation, orbitng a water world, it gives me a huge wealth change as a benefit, yet it tells me there are no links to the economy?

I'm a bit confused by this, does anyone understand what this benefit will actually bring, more weekly money for me?. Would be good to know

That bar indicates a change to the overall wealth stat of the system, not the payout to you. It's not yet fully known what all of the effects are but one of the likely ones is that prices for buying/selling commodities increases.

A Tourist installation should generate strong Tourism links to anything else at that planet and weak Tourism links to other planets in the system.

Higher wealth increases the size of the "None" region of the economy state slider for system factions, which makes economic states more stable in general.
There do seem to be pricing/quantity adjustments associated with it but they're not necessarily very significant.
