Played an old mechwarrior game the other day and there was a 'chain fire' option for the weapons.
I had four lasers on one weapon group and in chain fire, they fire one at a time but cycle through the weapon group on each press of the fire button.
So say you have two railguns, a PA, and two MC's, setup like so (separate RG's in case of missing target)
WG1 - PA
WG2 - RG
WG3 - RG
WG4 - MC
With a chain fire option it could be setup like this
WG1 - PA, RG, RG
WG2 - MC
Also could have an option to skip a weapon in the 'chain' too
Opinions?? Yes/no? For lazy people who can't be bothered to change weapon groups in battle?
