weapon dealers?

Have not played in a few months, and started back last night. I keep seeing in space weapon dealers/weapon seller ships. But i have no idea their use. I cannot seem to chat with them, or deal with them or trade. Is there something i am missing?

Go and buy some weapons. They will take them for a very reasonable price - especially if they are the illegal kind
