Weapon Engineering - Reload speed vs Stowed Reloading

Which one do you think it's better?

I've added Stowed Reloading in one weapon to test, and I realized that it's not instant reload after you stow the weapon. It takes a while (like 5.. 10 seconds).
On the other hand, the reload speed it's much faster, but you stop the DPS while reloading.

I just tested this using a video and adding a time code to measure how long it takes to reload an Executioner with faster reload compared to stock. I'll post the video at some point but just so you all know, it measured 2/3 of a second faster (00:00:02;22 compared to 00:00:03;12) and that...

The idea is you switch, use the other weapon then switch back. I'm sure the delay was added to stop it just being used as an exploit instant reload.

So I definitely think stowed will be worth it. Did you actually time it to 5s+?

I like the Stowed reload. I have it on a P-15 pistol for my Maverick suit, and it's a nice combination with an Oppressor or Aphelion for a bit of run and gun escape.

It is around 5s. Personally I've decided I'm better off remembering to hit reload with Fast Reload before stowing. I might do Stowed instead of Fast on the sidearms.

I managed to find an L-6 rocket launcher with the Stowed Reloading mod on it. It's a very good combination - a quick burst of DPS with the L-6 on a group of enemies and then finish them off with your second weapon of choice. The L-6 autoloads and you're ready to go for another burst!

That could be a good strategy. Primary with FAST side with stowed.

So bad that we can't remove the mods to test.
