Weapon load outs - Help

I've just managed to get a cobra and I was wondering what is the consensuses of the recommended weapon load out for the Cobra these days?

I was thinking 2 Fixed Multicannon on top and 2 Fixed Pulse Laser below, what do you think?

Should I change the Multicannon to gimballed :S

Probably gimbaled multi-cannons are the only gimbaled weapons that are effective. You can read my experience with different weapons here:

As for the Cobra. C2 hard points are too far away from the centerline, so usage of fixed weapons on these hardpoints is doubtful. One of them will miss almost always, especially at a close range.

You can test any equipment as you like, the weapons prices do not depreciate. You sell them at the same price as you have bought them.
