Newcomer / Intro Weapon Upgrades for Sidewinder... not worth it??

My sidewinder has two Pulse Laser (Loaned) equipped. This is what the ship came with. It's free.

When I look at the outfitting market though, the first laser listed is a Burst Laser. It costs 8,600, and is worse in ALL categories that differ. Rating is G instead of F. Power Draw is worse. Damage is worse. Rate of fire, DPS are worth, and thermal load are worse.

What's the point in listing a weapon for sale, if it's all worse than the starting guns? Am I missing something here?

That Weaponis Gimballed, iirc, which means that it has some range of movement to allow it a degree of autoaim, more accurate, more hits, more overall damage. Also due to the way that burst lasers fire they actually do more damage than pulse lasers.
