Horizons Weapons only fire when fired upon

Ok, I need a little assistance.. I have a Python. it has five weapons, but they only will fire when I am fired upon, Automatically for some reason if I get the pirate locked up, I have all the keys set up properly, Fire groups, AMMO. The chaff launches will fire, but not weapons, even when I target a wanted person, they will not fire when I press the trigger. Very frustrating. I have a hostas warthog.

Really dont like combat that is why I have never done it before always get my butt kicked, but I need too apparently to collect bounties for one of the engineers.

Any insight as to why my weapons wont fire.

Right panel last tab; check for turret firing option?

But I think it is your controller, which I know nothing about.

Have you setup your hotas trigger control in options for fire buttons 1 and 2. I also turn off auto fire on trigger control.
I have a separate button on my Hotas to deploy my weapons and not the fire triggers.
