Newcomer / Intro Weapons won't fire. Thermal overload

Never come across this can someone shed a little light on it?
Ship was in good order. Weapon moduals all at 100%
Not sure what's wrong...

Check modules screen with deployed weapons if they are still on (not red)
Also switch off a cargo hold to get below 100. The numbers are rounded so you can be just slightly over and still see 100.

And you mean you see a thermal overload warning when firing a guns? It might also mean that you have no pips in WEP and the energy pool is depleted.
