So apart from working, I volunteer on the board for our local kids sports club.
Our website is a mess, any changes means the web volunteer has to code everything in html. clunky, not user friendly, and frankly ugly.
I'm used to running CMS for personal reasons, and have some experience with the debian included freebies, but it's been years since I've dabbled.
The sports club site is hosted for a decent price, but their website template stuff is (I find) expensive, ie starting @ $10/mth on top of the hosting fee.
So in a nutshell I'm looking for ideas on a modern solution for an easy to create web builder (or whatever the vernacular is these days), that can hold a few static pages, pictures, video, that is easy to setup and maintain.
Mobile device compatible.
As of now, e-commerce is not obligatory, more of a marketing/communication platform.
No forums.
Cost is important, as I mentioned this is a non-profit.
Ideally free, but I do have a budget, and an upfront cost would be better than a recurring cost.
Any suggestions, places to start looking?
