Website information clarification

Elite Website said:
-Elite: Dangerous lets you team up in multiplayer
-It's an awe inspiring, beautiful, vast place with breath-taking scope and freedom that creates an epic multiplayer experience with you at the centre of the action. (This is for those it's a single player game sayers)
-Team up with others on missions or travel alone exploring the expanse of space encountering fellow explorers on the way, Elite: Dangerous offers endless choice in one massively multiplayer online experience.
-You can trade for profit between systems, ruthlessly pillage and pilfer at any given opportunity, take part in alliances to bring down planetary economies, tipping the balance of power, or simply explore the open world wonders of the galaxy, together or alone.
-Friends management and matchmaking (friends management is there, matchmaking??)
-Every time you and every other commmander undertake a mission, the outcome has an impact on the galaxy as a whole for everyone, so your experience is ever-unfolding.

That typo for commander is actually on the website.

These features I've taken directly about fifteen minutes ago from the website. Is it possible to get a developer to roadmap or confirm an implementation of this information that is currently advertised will be available upon the release date? I may not understand what some of these features mean as my idea of how these would sort of work could be far from what people were intended to understand. Specifically the parts in bold. Is the under taking a mission impacting the entire galaxy as simple as we have more credits, players may have seen us fly to other systems, or we may engage other players with the equipment we bought or is there more to this?

I can understand that you want to keep some things secret and excite people with them, but I'd be pretty excited if you simply said yes, there will be further implementation of features before release relating to the information advertised. Reasonable request, no?
