Astronomy / Space Wed 13th July - London talk with UK NASA astronaut Michael Foale

This was great, I recommend keeping an eye on Pint Of Science events wherever you are! There are periodic events in many countries. This was in conjunction with Kings College London and ISSET, and in a theatre / lecture hall rather than a pub. Drinks still available of course 
The main speakers were a NASA biologist studying the prolonged effects of space travel on biology, a Space Shuttle ground controller / engineer and her tales of launch events. Finally Mike Foale was very entertaining and had some great stories to tell and videos to show. Including his time on Mir, when there was a collision with a resupply ship Got a pic with him, very nice guy to boot.
