Well, the Elite Dangerous pre-Alpha threads are multiplying.
Wonder when it will hit. Would be really strange if it was released on the same day as my wedding, I am getting married this month so I may have two major life changing events to celebrate on the same day!

Congrats on the Wedding - hope for the sake of your marriage it is not released on the same day - otherwise you will have conflicting priorities.

Wow! what a response! Thanks everyone - I will pass on the congrats to Mrs. deMangler.
Also congrats to JeffRyan - totally.
I think that Mrs. deMangler (if I actually insisted she take my Elite commander name as a surname there might be a problem there...) gets that my connection with Elite goes back 30 years so it is kind of like family, an in-law if you will. ;)
Actually she kind of enjoys watching me play the Amiga version on an emulator and has been very impressed with the graphics vids of ED so far so there is hope for us...

Arrrrgh! Now the Alpha hits and I have a week to go before the wedding!
Strange to be caught between two of my favourite things - My lovely wife-to-be and the Elite: Dangerous Alpha!
As Jim Morrison said - this is the strangest life I have ever known.... :D
