Powerplay Faction: Aisling Duval Weekly Objectives for Cycle 104

Good morning Commanders!

It looks like some people expanded Jaaka anyway. Still, this serves as a good example of why we need a high Consolidation vote - it's much harder to stop bad systems in the expansion phase as the mechanics stop the Power members from doing much about it.

On the positive size Tumuzgo has gone into expansion this cycle. We do want to take this so knock yourselves out.

If you want to get an early start then as usual a few fortification targets are encouraged, for example Wulwula, Undines, Blod, Chankates, Rutujil or HIP 105391.

The finalised objectives will be posted on Reddit and copied here when ready once the numbers wizards have done their magic dance.

Never ever fortify: Clido Pi, Chnumar, Daibo, Grebegus, HIP 10786, Karsuki Ti, Kuki An, Lambda-1 Tucanae, Okua'gsa, Panganau. You will make baby Aisling cry.

On the Aisling's Angels trello page they have Jaaka as a fortification priority. Is that a consensus view?

For now, it would be best if it was fortified, just in case some opportunist tries to undermine it.

Predicting that the consolidation vote might fail again the preparing of 'Tumuzgo' takes Yaque off the board and it can no longer be prepared. Excellent work Cmdrs! Unfortunately no one opposed the expansion of Jaaka even though we asked for opposition assistance far and wide. Now under the control of the Princess and now within empire space one can only hope this new cubeo can help unify the empire rather than be the focus of division. Consolidation is important for the aisling economy as it enables us to prevent bad 5c/grinder preps from going through which aim to weaker our economy. Unfortunately there are no profitable systems left in the bubble for Aisling to currently take until they are dropped by another power. We thank all the loyal Aisling cmdrs that contributed to our fortification priorities - your efforts are paying dividends not only in protecting our systems for the current cycle, but also in making it harder for our systems to be undermined in the following cycle thanks to Consolidation. Until we can create more opportunities for positive expansions, we will be aiming to continue Consolidating our space.

Systems are fortified by collecting Program (fortification) materials from Cubeo only and delivering them to the target system.
Do not fortify any systems that are already at 100% fortification. Remember the One-Ton Test: Drop 1t of fortification materials at the station first, and check to see if the trigger has already been met. If it has, please find another system to fortify instead!
Please report your contributions to fortification values in the Reports field of the Aisling Duval Slack. __________________________________________________
