Powerplay Faction: Aisling Duval Weekly Objectives for Cycle 139

Good evening Commanders!

Well, after this morning's little hiccup, things should be more or less fixed. Except you got paid twice and the Princess doesn't want her money back. It must be nice to be that rich.

So now we know we have to:

1) Fortify systems as listed on the Trello
2) Vote Consolidation
3) Expand HIP 95256
4) Expand HIP 95256
5) Expand HIP 95256

Yes, the more expansion the better; we lost out by a sliver last time. Just truck as much as you can all week. Meals and baths optional.

To find out more about the primary Aisling Duval communication hub, our community Slack (including how to join), read the FAQ:
https://www.reddit.com/r/AislingDuval/comments/4f36wq/the_official_aisling_duval_slack_community/

Also, to keep an eye on our dynamic objectives list, which changes as the cycle progresses, please visit the webpage at https://trello.com/b/HBY3rRZR/aisling-duval

Fly safe, Commanders.

Why are you still reading this? Go start filling up at HIP 95256.

I was wondering what the reason was for the unexpectedly high credit bonus! Thanks for explaining.

I hope I am posting to the right thread if not apologises. I am intrested in doing powerplay with Aisling Duval and would like to know where to start/go thank you. Btw i am on xbox.

Hi, question: noted that while expansion is working, "opposition" is overtaking.
Still a tad new to PP. What is causing the opposition? Pirates, etc?

Enemy action. Basically they are killing NPCs there too much.

Do you mean NPC's killing NPC's?
Or would that be other players of other factions killing them?
(I assume NPC traders?)

I also noted some ships marked as "campaign ship." Are these the ones being killed?

Yes, NPCs killing other NPCs has no effect.

The important actions in that case were players killing PP NPCs - Aisling's Angels (not the player faction of the same name).

Ok, thanks for the clarification.

BTW, what exactly ARE those "campaign ships" doing? Should they be protected, i.e., watched over?
I hadn't seen very many human players in the last "expand" system or in Yan Musu.

Then again, I was blasted to space dust in Yan Musu by a player, apparently associated with a rival faction but it all happened so fast I couldn't see which faction. All I could see were little red letters indicating a rival faction.
