Why the hell we are stagnating? Last cycle fortification, this cycle fortification... We are on 5th place guyz... This is disgrace for Empire, disgrace for Aisling!
I am apealing for more active powerplay...
So why we are not expanding? Do you fear we dont have enough people? Ok i will then fortify systems with 14 000 tones by myself if i had to but for God sake expand!

Anything that does not show a "Potential Loss" figure in the PowerPlay stats screen is a good place to start.
Although there are other considerations after that, like how easy it is to prepare/expand/fortify. We lost the last one because of the long distance to a landing pad once in system, for example.

Currently, the nine or ten nominated systems are either being nominated by people who want to quickly and easily grind merits without caring about the damage they do, by people who do not understand nomination and the wider Powerplay system or by people who are actively trying to harm a power known as 5th columnists.
In short, expanding now will only harm Asling. There is only a limited amount of Command Capital available, expanding into bad systems puts a strain on the CC income. If reserves drop below zero, you will lose systems. You may expand to a bad sytem one week but if that system causes a defecit it will mean turmoil, if that cannot be rectified, you will lose systems you cannot pay for.

Part of it due imo, to be being outplayed by some of the other powers in the past few months and they've taken systems that would have been otherwise profitable or sustainable for Aisling. Grom also poached on a lost Aisling system. Winters took Kalana by taking over Miroman. And yes, we seem to have a 5C prepper problem again even though the "BHofJakka" is dead and rotting. I never believed in "ZYADA" either and glad that farce is mostly effectively over. Last cycle, uncharacteristically. there wasn't enough expansion effort on Rutujil. (yes, the station was farther out, but it only seemed like a few extra minutes to me) Maybe part of it is due to a "spring lull" or distraction from the release of "Farcry 5".
