I'm afraid that yet again saw a push by various traitorous elements to prepare an unsuitable system. As a result a prep blocker had to be put into place late in the cycle.

With this in mind, do NOT expand Dalat. We don't want it.

Instead, concentrate on fortifying. And get the Consolidation vote as high as you can to avoid situations like this in future.

Hi Cori, sorry to pester with another question, but what exactly is a "prep blocker", i.e., other players?

To put it simply, if we see a bad system being prepared and the consolidation vote is too low, we spend vast amounts of credits and time getting another system above it on the list before the end of the cycle. That system is the preparation blocker.

Ideally it should be a system where we can see any expansion next week will fail. If not, it should be somewhere where we think we can make it fail.

A third, poor, choice is a system where it's simply not as bad as the system we're trying to stop, even if the expansion goes through. The mechanics make expansions by your own side a lot harder to fight than preparations.

Ok, thanks for the update. I saw the "resistance" on that expansion system up to 100% last night.

Do you think this system(s) we don't want are being prepared by "other forces" or by someone simply not watching this forum or trello (or the BGS)?
