Good evening Commanders!
I am pleased to announce that the system of Cari and its neighbours have successfully sued for inclusion in the Princess's protectorate.
Those of you who do not follow the Powerplay scores closely may not realise what a milestone for our Power this acquisition represents. With the addition of Cari our starting economy is no longer CC negative, meaning we start this week out of CC debt and with a small positive balance. If we could be sure no-one was going to undermine us (and I hasten to point out we are sure of no such thing!) we would not need to fortify anything this week to stay out of turmoil.
This is a fantastic achievement, considering where we were even a year ago, and has only been possible thanks to much number-crunching to come up with long-term plans to increase our CC, and the dedication and hard work of all you commanders in the face of sometimes disturbingly tenacious opposition.
Congratulations to you all.
For this week, then, take it easy: just fortify as per the Trello list. Hold your votes for now.
