Weekly Objectives for Cycle 36
Hail, CMDRS!
We’re not going to dress it up- last week went poorly for us. Due to some confusion over the exact order of operations for the expansion refund mechanics when systems are in turmoil, we ended up finishing the week with a reasonable deficit but still succeeded in both of our expansions. We have inherited the Control System that was forced upon us by the massive fifth-column push from Cycle 34, and finding the opportunity to drop this system will be incredibly difficult to do.
There’s nothing that can be done about this now, so we will have to look to the future and forge ahead, doing the best we can along the way. That starts with bringing our CC levels up to a more favourable position so that we can acquire better prep targets in future, as well as securing a desirable prep system for this turn.
As always, the following is a list of suggested actions that we feel pilots pledged in service to Aisling Duval should consider enacting in order to best serve the needs of her administration.

Primary Objective: Expansion
Due to our low CC levels for this week we have only enough CC to afford a single middling prep target for this week. After deliberation within the community, the decision has been made to prepare HIP 77470. Due to the concerted nature of the players that have been counter-prepping us of late, we have decided to make the preparation of this system priority number one.

To combat this crisis, the Paladin Consortium are requesting Water Purifiers to be sold to Onnes Gateway in LFT 37, in order to help meet the basic sanitation and health needs of these people while the process of ensuring their freedom is expedited.
Please remember to accept the community goal from the bulletin board before selling your cargo, as any Water Purifier sold before accepting the mission will not count towards the total for the system.
Emergencies like this are the essence of who we are as a power, and what we should strive to be while working in service to Princess Aisling and all that she stands for. With your assistance, not one person need die from lack of access to the basic necessities of life due to the failings of the bureaucratic processes that once shackled them.
Please help us all to break those chains, and help these people keep their dreams of a better tomorrow alive!

Recent reports from LFT 37 indicate that the system could be on the brink of a humanitarian crisis. According to system authorities, the issue began when the Paladin Consortium took control of the starport of Onnes Gateway and liberated all the imperial slaves at the starport. Unfortunately, however, the process of officially terminating the slaves' contracts has become entangled in bureaucratic red tape, and this has put the former slaves in a difficult position, as they cannot yet legally obtain housing or employment.
The former slaves of LFT 37 are on the verge of a humanitarian crisis, one that pilots who value the ethos of our dear Princess should strive to do their utmost to assist with. These people, who once had their freedom taken away from them, face the very real threat of death from a failure to meet their basic living requirements when on the cusp of being able to walk among the populace once more as free men and women.
