Powerplay Faction: Aisling Duval Weekly Objectives for Cycle 87

Good morning Commanders!

Things have been eventful recently; the Community Goal run by Ram Tah was quickly completed, allowing the maverick engineer to identify four more potential locations for ruins of the ancient Guardians. Commanders of an inquisitive nature have headed out in droves to search those star systems - those of course not already searching the area around Maia for more sightings of the mysterious, organic ships some believe to be returning Thargoids.

Closer to home, in every sense, the signing of the so-called ZYADA Treaty between the various Imperial Powers and "Chuckles" Grom has hopefully allowed us to put aside any worries along that border and focus on other hostile actions.

Servers are back up - we have an enormous 848CC this cycle. Please vote for Consolidation again as soon as you can; this massive amount of CC will enable us to seriously beef up our defences. From last week it gave us a 50% boost in triggers against undermining which is seriously good news.

If you want to get an early start then as usual a few fortification targets are encouraged, for example Wulwula, Undines, Blod, Chankates, Rutujil or HIP 105391.

The finalised objectives will be posted on Reddit and copied here when ready once the numbers wizards have done their magic dance.

Never ever fortify: Clido Pi, Chnumar, Daibo, Grebegus, HIP 10786, Karsuki Ti, Kuki An, Lambda-1 Tucanae, Okua'gsa, Panganau. You will make baby Aisling cry.

Fly safe, commanders.

Cool!

Just came over from Denton Patreus after 5 weeks of frustration there. Had enough.

Glad to see some communication going on with this power, which was a large part of the reason I decided to switch to AD.

Working on your requested fortification objectives listed above.

Cheers. :D

Welcome!

Yes, a large part of why I do this is to get communication going as soon as possible at the start of each cycle rather than just let people flail around in the dark.

But for even more communication I suggest you apply to join the Slack, which we use as our primary communication tool.

Fly safe, Commander.

Weekly Objectives for Cycle 87

Hail, CMDRS!

Last cycle we were able to block all of the bad preparations that were forced at us with the new Consolidation voting mechanism. Ensuring that consolidation reaches the top of the preparations list will stop all preparations going through and boost the undermining triggers for Aisling in the following cycle. This will be an invaluable asset for us going forward, but your input will be essential in ensuring that we can use this tool to its fullest potential to help protect our domain.

Please vote for Consolidation this cycle as well!

We would suggest a greater level of fortification on all profitable systems this cycle as well.

As always, the following is a list of suggested actions that, in collaboration with the Aisling Duval community, we feel will best serve the needs of our Princess' administration.

Click here to be taken to the Aisling Duval trello page where all of the cycle objectives are tracked and updated frequently as objectives are completed.

VOTE CONSOLIDATION

At present, we have no Prep Target. Please Vote for Consolidation instead, by clicking the box indicated in this image. You will only be able to Vote if you have been pledged to Princess Aisling for more than a month.

Systems are prepared by collecting Preparation Materials from any Aisling Duval Control System and delivering them to the target system.

FORTIFICATION

Click here to be taken to the Aisling Duval trello page where fortification and other cycle objectives are tracked and routinely updated by members of the community to ensure their accuracy.

If you do not wish to use the Trello, a static list of targets to fortify is provided below. Bear in mind that this list will not be updated routinely, and it is best to consult either the Trello or in-game to ensure that these systems have not already reached their fortification totals.

Fortification is our only major priority for this turn - please aim to have all of these systems completed as the week progresses.

DO NOT FORTIFY ANY OTHER SYSTEMS UNLESS THESE OBJECTIVES ARE UPDATED TO SHOW OTHERWISE.

Systems are fortified by collecting Program (fortification) materials from Cubeo only and delivering them to the target system.

Do not fortify any systems that are already at 100% fortification. Remember the One-Ton Test: Drop 1t of fortification materials at the station first, and check to see if the trigger has already been met. If it has, please find another system to fortify instead!

Please report your contributions to fortification values in the Reports field of the Aisling Duval Slack. __________________________________________________

UNDERMINING/SCRAP

Please consult the AD Slack to see if there are any systems that are appropriate for Undermining/Opposing.

Thanks again for the invitation. Now monitoring everything from over there. :)

Hi, I've reached rank 5 pledge to Aisling for a few weeks now. I've noticed a bit over a hundred imperial cutters through the Cubeo system in its
traffic report. And then I noticed the Yaque system keeps getting prepped like mad despite the cycle objectives imploring not to. So are all these
cutters and some anacondas prepping Yaque, Aisling pledged players who are unware of the cycle objectives here, or are they actively intent on Yaque
to undermine Aisling for another power or maybe just don't want to follow the cycle objectives? I just find it hard to believe these players
pledged to Aisling have played long enough to get the credits and ranks for a cutter, prep Yaque like mad, and still not be aware of this cycle
objectives thread.

To be honest, there's no way of knowing if it's fifth column activists or just zombies. It's probably a bit of both. Whoever they are, they're persistent.
