Weekly powerplay assignments

Last week I had an assignment at Concordia to deliver a couple of Utopian dissidents. But in Concordia was no power contact to collect it. Utopian dissidents from other systems didn’t count …

This week I have two assignments in Juan: „Sell rare goods in the Juan system“ and „Sell exploration data in Juan“. I’ve sold „AZ Cancri Formula 42“, „Eden Apples Of Aerial“ and exploration data. But nothing counted.

Was the distance for rare goods not long enough or because merits for rare goods are suspended at the moment, so they don’t count for the assignments too? The same with exploration data.

Rare goods (and trade in general) had an issue on Thursday which wasn't fixed until the evening, so retrying that might help. There's no distance requirement for rares - you would get more merits for longer distances if it was enabled, but for completing the weekly tasks you can take them to the system next door and it's fine.

Exploration data, the individual system sales need to be above a certain threshold (somewhere in the 250-500k region, I'm not sure exactly) before they count for merits so if you sold a page which was worth more than that but made up of cheap systems, that wouldn't work. Mapped ELWs, AWs or terraformable WWs certainly get above the threshold even if there's only one and without first discovery bonus.

I've delivered the required rare goods more than one time. So it's better to ignore it.

To complete the exploration assignment of 301997 I need this amount or more from the same system? Interesting. Last week I had a system with more than 350k and no merits. So the theshold is higher or it was a bug. So it's better to ignore this assignment too.

my Exploration data ( which was far higher than the required amount for Weekly) turn-in last nite did absolutely nothing , so tbh i'm sooo confused ( and frustrated ) by how & why the heck Exploration isn't working the way it supposedly should.

Heck, if it weren't for @Ian Doncaster 's posts i probably would've just given up on new PP2.0 a while ago lol

Complex is sorta fun. Convoluted is not.

Today I visited Chloe Sedesi. At the end I sold exploration data for 5.537.791 and received 83 merits. Amazing! The largests system was 960.904. So the assignment was completed with 960.904/301.997.

To collect 1 black box takes not so long …. Anyway, the assignment was complete.
