Weird ambient noises?

Hi all. I started building a new zoo and noticed that after I placed some pine trees around my entrance, I started to hear some creepy bird(?) noises, like cawing or low screeches. The zoo is a temperate map and I didn't notice these noises until after I placed those trees. Is there a way to turn these noises off? It's not very relaxing

I was curios and tested something with a blank map.Disabled the soundtrack. Placed a lot ( A LOT) of different trees.Deleted them.
And than I played with the undo - redo function.
And yes....while there is always a background sound of birds on new/empty map...it seems that with the different trees some sounds related to the biome of them are added.

At least this is my impression....but it's a strong one

And yes pleo, you can reduce the volume of the sound effects in the settings.

It is actually a cool effect of the game. The cawing is just a bit unpleasant lol. Thanks for your reply!

Funny enough, I always play in Europe Tempered and sometimes I have singing birds and sometimes I have crows. If I'm right, it has something to do with the weather. Try setting it to sunny always, let the game run for a few minutes and see if the birds change.

I love the different enviorement sounds, but I totally get why thecrows can be terrible annoying.Especially when you play in pause a lot and the sound doesn't change.

Does this happen with Trees of all Biomes?
I already noticed Bird Sounds in my Main-Zoo (temperate Europe) but in the newest Park (tropical Asia) I only noticed the Bird Sounds from the Speakers

I think I already have the zoo in always-sunny mode, but I will double check and see :)
I'm not sure about all biomes; my other zoo is an African savanna zoo and I never noticed anything out of the ordinary, at least not to this extent.
