Weird HUD glitching

First time out tonight and I got this strange glitching on my HUD that I've never seen before. I thought at first that I might be overheating, but it appears not. Anybody else had this?

I've had that many times, I always thought it was due to being in combat as the ship takes hits, some systems get jolted around. I don't think it's any kind of bug.

Ahhh ok, I guess that makes sense though I'm surprised I've not noticed it before.

It's when you get hit in combat, the computer systems fail and glitch and offset. I believe they said they have altered it in 1.2 to make it look a little less over dramatic and schlocky
