Say what will about smuggling, but you get to visit many systems, and witness strange goings on.
Dropped out of SC near an outpost, and to my dismay saw at least 4 system authority ships. "That's new." I think.
Scan detected, AHH! boost, boost, boost. Got away.
Flip the ship about while 10 km away from the outpost, to see what I could see.
System authority ships, all green (allied) to me, some vipers, but a couple Anacondas too.
They start attacking the outpost.

I watch, bemused as one by one they are summarily executed. BTW, those 2 little detached circular things positioned around the outpost? Yeah, they're weapons platforms.
System ships gone, I start to slowly close in on the out post, in a strafe position.
4 more auth ships drop in, and attack the outpost.
I wait for 2 to get dead, and land quickly while the other 2 are too busy dying to scan me.
Quickest docking I've ever done at an outpost.
I left just as quickly, while more ships spawned and died.
