I rarely fail an interdiction (per chance about once every 100 or so). But today met one a rather amazing escapee - a Fed Gunship at that. Zig-zag... interdiction failed. Just what sort of SC agility does that ship have? (Never flown one myself, and as it requires fed rep, never will). Oh ya, was trudging along with FDL myself.

I noticed this too...the Fed Gunship is very agile in super cruise...more than most ships I have seen.

Speaking from an interdicted POV, interdictions are a mystery right now. Which is a polite way to say broken. Appart from the few occasional times when the minigame will play as expected, it tends to be a settled affair from the start. It can be the target zone that zaps out of sight, or the red bar filling despite you being well aligned with said zone the whole time... Now I tend to just submit.

But now that you say it, I thought I noticed those behaviours were involving Federal gunships and family quite often. I'll be sure to watch out for that from now on.

Indeed, interdiction is quite broken currently. My favourite thing is when it completely switches to epilepsy mode and just flickers until you drop out of SC.
But back to topic, Gunship is agile. almost too much, compared to a Vulture ;)

You should buy one just to try it.
Its a sight to behold, I just wish it had half of that maneuverability during normal flight

Just wait until you forget to check where your target is, and manage to interdict someone through a star xD *tunnel appears, too close, dropping.. overheat galore*
