Its actually not that funny... You'll all be laughing when theres just 200 of you and Frontier turn around and switch the servers off. If these people can be bothered to complain, then imagine how many people who don't check the forums or reply are having problems with the game.

You're missing the point and you're also clearly unaware that I'm one of the biggest cynics in this universe... Mind you... I'll be happy with the 200 of us.. There'll be a lot less whining... Cya!
PS : You'll also note that I have not, at any point, mentioned offlinegate... This is because some of the people involved (ignoring all the scammers and trouble-makers who should frankly be shot for trying it on and for stirring) have a genuine grievance and some in particular are people who I have a good deal of respect for and can call friends...

For what its worth, in case you werent in the know, Frontier has been around for over 30 years, and David Braben essentially made this game for himself and his friends, hes just nice enough to let us play it. Its not going anywhere anytime soon.

FD have said they will not be turning off the servers for the foreseeable future, and whether this game has 200 or 2 million players, the game is not made to cater to us, but rather the people that made it, we are here because we like they game that they wanted to make for themselves, not to change the game into something it is not, so if people are not happy with it, then they would be better off finding another game to play instead.
