And i'm fed up with Christmas for a bit, so i'm taking a vacay in Egypt, on the Nile. Came in on a boat, and all :

The zoo and building series are called Taweret, who is an egyptian goddess of maternity and family, in the form of a hippo!
Thanks Frontier for fixing that nasty bug keeping us from building / blueprinting / deleting spawn points and entrances!

this is absolutly amazing.
I am very into the ancient egypt culture myself and have plans for a future sandbox zoo with this theme, but currently working on something else.
I love the way you use what we currently have in this game to create the ancient egyptian flair

If you ever played planco, there's some really really good egyptian stuff in there : i'm just transposing my planco builds to planzoo, sort of. And the basic art shapes allow for so much creative building. there's a few african items and metallic textures that are nice to use here in planzoo, too.

No I never played Planet coaster, because I hate themeparks. I hope we will get ancient themes as well in Planet Zoo. and hopefully they will be colorchange, since the ancient worlds were so much brighter and colorfull, than the ruins are nowadays.

oh, you'd be surprised! the egyptian theme is NOT planco : it's something the players made on their own using stuff from the game to build something different. there's lots of non planco related themes : viking, steampunk, atlantis and underwater, all built just with other pieces, like art shapes or those christmas baubles, and such. It's kinda easy to do the same here, when you've beendoing it for 3 years in another really similar game.
