Welfare rating question

Simple question for you all. Does a Dinosaur dying of Old Age affect you parks welfare rating ? I only ask as on Isla Sorna everyone of my dino's has 100% comfort, have food constantly and are not forced to fight each other for idiotic missions. Yet when I go to my park rating everything else is highlighted showing it is great but my welfare is dulled showing the guests are unhappy with the dino welfare. The only thing that I can see affecting welfare is dinos dying of old age. Once a dino dies I remove it instantly and have a replacement dino sat in incubation.

Ok this one is driving me nuts now. Restarted Isla Sorna to see if I could do things differently. Every dinosaur is 100% comfortable, has food, no disease, no fighting etc etc etc.... Yet my welfare rating is down. The only thing that happens to my dinosaurs is the die of old age. I can't understand nor figure out as to why my welfare is down. Can someone please answer as to whether a dinosaur dying of old age would affect my welfare rating.

No I don't think a dinosaur dying of old age affects your welfare rating. I have great welfare rating for the islands that I have and the dinos are dying of old age all the time. What does it actually say about your welfare rating?

If a dino is dead and its deadbody is kept in the enclosure for too long it effects your welfare rating...............I think.......

Possible they're having to travel too far for water (spending time 'thirsty')? Or .. are they any spending time in panic? This comes and goes, so you could be checking the dinos and they're happy but there might be something in the enclosure causing panic moods when you're not looking? Bit more information maybe ... ?

Sorry I haven't replied, been rather busy at work. Anyway back to the issue. When I build my paddocks I always put more than one source of water. I have had a few issues where I had one water source in with T-Rex and Raptors, only for the raptors to never drink due to the T-Rex being close to the water. Since then I have always put multiple water sources in. I also have lots of food sources for both Herbivores and Carnivores. The carnivores have a couple of static food sources as well as quite a few goat feeders. As for dino's being in a panicked state. Only time they panic really is when a Storm decides to come along or I am lifting out a dead dino. Both don't happen very often and I remove a dead dino instantly (damn you OCD).

I just do not understand why my welfare rating is down when every dino is 100% comfortable. The tool tip on the control room gives a welfare penalty with nothing telling you why you have a penalty. Just gives you a number.

I don't have any dinosaurs fighting or killing each other (Idiotic missions aside), all the dinosaurs are fed and watered and not in a panicked state unless a storm is about. All have 100% comfort.

In Sorna, the wild dino's count as your dinos. Have you accounted for all of them when checking 100% comfort on your dinos? Especially if you're at the point where the first wave of dying is happening you're gonna have 20-30 minutes of unhappy wild stegos if your left them out there.
