Well done FD!

I'm quite happy with the beta, aside from the initial server kicks I think powerplay will change the game for the better, I've enjoyed flying both new ships and I'm sure when the beta goes public so will others, of course some will disagree but that is life. I just wanted to say thanks, I've been around since the first OSOD, and spend a fair amount of time playing ED, looking forward to the future.

I agree. Good job on their part.

The new docking computer is EXCELLENT.

The two new ships are perfectly balanced, fun, not overpowered and (as a bonus) are sure to provoke tears on the forums because they aren't the new pre-nerf Python death machine.

Powerplay looks really interesting. I have a few reservations about it at the moment though.

Wholeheartedly agree. I went into this beta with one goal - to buy and love the courier. To get to imperial space I bought a Diamondback as I figured good jump range and was not disappointed. In fact, to quote James May, it gave me a pleasant fizz in the underpants region. Sod the Courier, I'm buying a Diamondback!

Actually I will probably buy both, DB for an escort/explorer and Courier for some uberfast rares running, with a A3 shield it is a durable little fluff-bunny!

I've frequently wondered why appreciation threads get buried so fast and " I want" or " disappointed" threads seem to flourish it does say a lot..
