So i will be massively surprised if this is a huge shake up, but what would you folks realistically want to see in the update?
I know we have gone over it a hundred times but lets be realistic, i cant see huge changes to PvP or open only content etc.
For me i would like:
Ranks harder to attain, but they don't decay, its a pain having to regrind back to Rank 5 every time im out in the bubble for a few weeks
Remove all modules from PP to stop faction hoping
Can we please for the love of the Gods remove the endless clicking for filling up the cargo hold? i don't mind being charged 6.5mill to queue jump getting those pesky Dissidents into the Cutter but can it be done in one go?

Merit hauling might remain as a relic of the prior system, but it will no longer be the only(or even the best) way to achieve progress.
I hope to see a system whereby playing the game in accordance with a faction's ethos will directly help that faction, whether or not you're pledged to that power. IE, if you do piracy, that helps Archon Delaine, regardless of whether you're pledged to him. This will result in Powers having influence where their type of players play, rather than a more arbitrary system.
I hope to see Powerplay modules uncoupled from pledging. Ideally, you'll still be able to buy Powerplay modules from a faction you're pledged to, but you should also be able to earn a currency that allows you to buy modules directly from power-specific tech brokers. IE, if you go into Delaine space and do piracy, you will gain Delaine merits, which can then be spent on Cytoscramblers. This would allow you to buy and sell cytoscrambers without needing to stockpile them in a spare ship.
Lastly, I hope to see a system that encourages players to play REGARDLESS of where their power currently stands in the galactic rankings. Right now, there is zero reason for the bottom half of powers to even bother, because they gain nothing until they reach the top 3, and getting there is impossible. Playing the weakest factions should give the MOST opportunity, not the least.
Oh, and of course, I hope for a deeper layer of sensible strategic gameplay; stuff that can be understood by the layman but which offers deep thinking for those who are interested in that sort of thing.
