Well Good news! No more human trash all over the galaxy.

I'm talking about all the scrap found of planetary surfaces of course [haha]

Stated in the latest newsletter, regarding 2.1: "Also, human-created POIs will also not be encountered as far out from human space as they are at the moment."

I'm rather certain this means not finding any more abandoned srvs and canisters with tea every few hundred yards at 20kLY from the core systems. Hooray!

Yep, it's a good and very welcome change. HOWEVER, I hope they also add in a few new POI's for us deep space explorers to find as well!

Oddly, I have yet to encounter tea. Occupied pods, animal meat, personal weapons, bertrandite, but no tea.

It will be nice to replace the chuckle I got when running across the 'out of place' items with one of, perhaps fear.. or some other adrenaline pumping triggers!
The POI content has obviously been a [solid] filler until such time that, later in the season, devs could replace them with more meaningful "interests".

Lol, where are NPC's going to hide their tea for safekeeping now? Maybe they were going to be part of a mission. Haven't you always wanted to fly halfway across the galaxy to retrieve a container of tea for 3000 credits?

The new items will be alien organisms that will capture a player character by ejecting from the pod when the player is close and fastening itself to their head ;)
