Newcomer / Intro Well I just bought a new Viper and ran out of fuel

So I am currently floating around in Wolf 654 deep space. I have been frantically reading the forums trying to find out if something is implemented to save me. I guess they got rid of the distress beacon, and I am screwed. To top it off I wasted all of my money outfitting the Viper so I only have half of the credits to get it back :(

Is this a lesson learned or am I missing something to help me?!

I`m not sure if it is still in the game, but you might get a distress button when run out of fuel completely.
The only other way would be blowing up your ship.

Silly Question did you not fit a fuel scoop? IF so fly to the sun and refuel stay in supercruise and its automatic, just keep an eye on heat levels. If not, then i dont, know of anything that might help. but maybe someone else does.

I had this earlier - and don't think there's an answer for you I'm afraid - it sounds like distress calls were taken out of the game.

How on earth did you manage to make enough to buy a Viper in the first place? - I'm struggling to make 1000 credits at a time!

Real easy. Got a sidewinder took all of the weapons off and replaced all internal compartments with racks, and became a smuggler :)
