Well I went to Yembo in my 120T Asp.......

Made around 70k on a full load of gold/palladium from 19ly away. On same load in my 'home' system I can make 220k.......so someone, somewhere, tell me the attraction of grinding for 140k round trip when, in less time, I can make 350k on a round trip! At home I also don't have to dodge 1M pirates either :)

Someone hasn't really made this Yembo goal attractive enough for me to waste any more time on it & I'm sure others who've been there feel exactly the same. Grinding is grinding but at least make it bloody worthwhile!

In not planning on heading that way, but I'd be curious to know whether the normal background simulation that should see demand prices drop as trade numbers go up is overridden by the community goal demand.

Anyone got any info?

from what I can gather, as the community tiers are achieved, the reward for being in a certain percentage group will get larger, how large is anyones guess as the tier 1 rewards are as underwhelming as many of the rewards in this game.

I did a 200ly round trip out there and it was an abject waste of time. Prices are abysmal all around, nothing but twitchy cmdr's and even the scenery isn't worth it.

As for the goals, they're pointless. Really. Unless your idea of fun is to haul supplies and take a loss.

IMO to make things like this attractive to 'grinders' there HAS to be a bounty above & beyond what you can get for the materials elsewhere. I.E make Palladium 18-20k per ton & every hauler with a brain cell would be there hauling his ass off. Having prices lower than I can get in my home system is just plain ridiculous & not attractive to me in the slightest, I'm sure I'm not alone with my thoughts on this but doubt that any dev will take a blind bit of notice!
