Have white and red rash on tongue for 3 weeks or so, just had swab results back for fungal and bacterial tests and they are negative.

next up, tissue biopsy to check for cancerous cells.

Not sure how much work i will be getting done between now and getting that sorted.

Hope FD dont delay that 2020 content too long....... or i may not get to see it (I am joking.......... i hope!)

Some years ago my then dentist referred me to the local hospital for a biopsy to rule-out cancer of the tongue. I have to say that the procedure was actually very uncomfortable, felt really weird and took days of saline washes before I felt anywhere near normal.

Ive heard this called Strawberry Tongue before.
Sometimes Allergies and Vitamin deficiencies can cause it as a symptom.
Don't Panic just yet.

Thanks all for you messages. Just got back from the consultant and he reckons it is nothign to worry about, and does not even want to take a biopsy.

he said if it gets worse to contact him again, and he is also pinging a message to my dentist to put a note on my dental records to check my mouth next dental check up.

So, looks like with a bit of luck i may make the 2020 release after all ;)

(jury still out on whether I will last till Star Citizen however :D )
