And would have been the 2nd one lost to a bug.
I don't care about the money, money is a joke in ED and I am all for consequences for loss in ED (though NPC crew dying without chance to save is just an unfinished potential gameplay example imo)
BUT given FD make it take many many hrs to train and with no way to rescue, imo any bug which causes their death esp when obvious and repeatable should never make it out of beta and if it does should have been fixed in a point patch right away.
Doing a kill X pirates mission combines with some high level pirate assassination missions I dropped on my 1st mark deployed fighter and toasted him... No problem .
However my 2nd fight went all to hell as I am interdicted , the high level ship opens fire asap I deploy weapons..... Shield offline life support on I am hit with missiles, canopy cracks and no idea what the hell is going on!.
I take a load more hits and then luckily it twigged what the issue may be I pull back weapons and get power back and make it away with a hell of a lot of damage in my conda....
Came on to file bug report and noticed all power management is reset to see it is a known bug.
Come on guys @FD bugs like this are proper poor that would be another 12month to rank up my NPC, she still is not at the rank my old one was at when a bug killed her over a year ago.
