Well, that went wrong...

It was totally not my fault, you see. I was there, in this imperial station. Just undocked, in my cargo 432 slaves. Save as an Anaconda can be. Add bit of thrust, then a notification comes up on my second screen. Given that there is a 5 minute window to leave the station, I stopped the engines inside the Coriolis starport and went looking what it was. Suddenly, there I hear "under attack". More than confused, I look straight back at the game, give it all the attention it wants. Apparently the nib of my long nose somehow got into the door, what the station even more apparently didn't like.

Long story short, for this mistake I was blown to pieces. 14 million went straight out of the window! At first I was like "14 mil rebuy when combat configed? I can dig that!" Having lost 14 mil now in a Tradeconda, I can say safely: "No I can't."

I'm sticking to my Python! This is madness!

Moral of the story is.. a good Captain or commander of any ship should divert full attention in and around a port.. end of story.. Sad though..! Glad you have a backup python!

Hearing about all the troubles and investment needed to operate a big ship since 1.3, i dont think i ever want to upgrade to a bigger ship.

Yeouch!

Those poor slaves........!

Yep, more "Elite Logic"..........you can imagine it at Heathrow Airport, pilot accidentally pulls in to the wrong parking bay, gets a 200 quid fine, and then Airport Authorities open fire on the plane and kill all on board...........it is nonsense....

Not a nonsense at all, in 3301 rather different standards are applied to those we have today and life is valued on a different scale. Anyway you don't get fined for parking in the wrong bay, you get warned and then blown apart. Furthermore nobody can claim they didn't know the rules as there are announcers at every station who constantly repeat the message "Loitering is a crime punishable by death" or variations thereof.

They can be fun if you take proper care of them! Yeah, 50k here, 60k there. But that's that really.

Oh, but wouldn't they value life more? Sure, there are way more humans, but only because there are way more resources! So, with resources nearly being no problem anymore, competition falls in its importance, allowing morale to take a greater role in society!

So this one time. I was pulling into the station just clearing the entry and going mid station to dock. All I know is all of a sudden someone flys up benith me slamming into my python, also filled full with imperial slaves, and then they slammed into me a second and a third, seemingly on purpose this time! And then about 5 seconds later as im trying to figure out what is wrong with this person I'm blasted to pieces by the station... Needless to say I played solo for a couple weeks because I was so mad! Stupid Jackwagon!
