So apparently the player murder bounty applies to SRV rebuys also.
*For clarification, meaning if you murder a player in your corvette and accidently die in your SRV later on.

Buckle up. Its expensive.

Balance they call it.

Well, before the PF bounties went live people were constantly saying that they would never pay one because they never died. Maybe Frontier listened.

Someone verify this. Take a video. Because as others are saying this doesn't make sense. Rebuys should only apply to ship destruction? SRVs are treated like fighters basically...

Sounds about right to me, no? Most pirates and pvp'er fly with "report crimes against me off" anyway, so it will not affect us if we fight each other for the fun of it. It's only becoming a problem if you kill traders or attack noobs in superior and expensive ships.

So for the ganker session, get out the viper iv and everything is fine ;)

I like the new bounty system, it's good for every style of gameplay in elite.

Hm, technically the SRV isn't Telepresence, so this might indeed be working as intended.

Sounds very weird though, since the SRV always seemed expendable. Did anyone ever test if a SRV loss added to the personal Rebuy Stats (+1 event) ?

Looks like the mechanic is working from the OP's post :) No more cost-free ganks? Makes me want to play open more.

In EVE there was this amazing mechanic, you could actually spend your money on a bounty on someone else. Too bad we can't do that here in ED. One guy, an ally on my squadron, wanted me to leave so he could get all the points from something, and when I didn't move he blew me up. I spend a few weeks placing a daily bounty on his head, it was great lolz ganking by extension!

Actually most of our guys just went on a ganking rampage. Just means we have to be more careful in the SRV.

Big deal. Its slightly annoying and poorly implemented. It changed nothing.

It was ganking with a purpose.

Complaints are cool, Mods being pro combat logging is not..

Ughh, do you want to bring that issue here?

Look, you might have issues with them but I also have issues with them and yet I’m not crying about it so just deal with it, it’s not like they closed a certain thread that should have...

Edit, a moderator has the right to give their opinion and I have not seen them abusing their power.

Opinions are fine but when those opinions are presented by a mod they carry somewhat more gravity to them, given the context was about cheating...

So what? Mods are people and they often just participate as we do, when they do mod that’s when they don’t comment.
