Did the cold war ever really stop? More like it went into remission fer a few years, but did it really ever go away completely? Although in fairness, it's the worst now as it's been in a long time. We live in interesting and somewhat worrying days.
It seems the apology tour was not long enough. Perhaps if Obama received another Nobel prize that would help? Has anyone noticed if the seas have stopped rising?

I am sorry my country won't let me read such western propaganda: Sometime war is good for business, sometimes bad. There will always be a cold war of some kind; between two or more opposing ideologies and then if you add egos into the equation: It will go on forever.

The cold war never ended, though it is not about ideologies at all anymore. Both the US/Saudi as well as the Russia/Iran side have high stakes in Syria. There are three competing pipeline projects (Nabucco, Quatar-Turkey, and the Friendship Pipeline), and this is what this war is being fought over. It isn't a civil war or a rebellion. Never was. This is about hundreds of billions of $ in fossil based energy that goes up in smoke in your car, or is used to produce electric energy at a laughably low efficiency. And this is what decides whether a state leader is called "president" or "dictator" in the news.
