so I'm on Synuefe xr-h d11-102, Planet 1 B, driving around, when I notice someone blasting my parked ship. No Panic.

So I drive over and BOOM game crash.... I re-log in and no I can't recall my Anaconda.... I tried re-logging a couple of times.... no ship..... [where is it] just me in my Scarab.

Hmmm wonder if I can thumb a lift? [up]

Seriously, Frontier... what the #@$@%?!?!

Try booting up in non-horizons. You should respawn in orbit in your ship.

Then reload in horizons and continue :)

Still a bug but should fix it.

Similar happened to me out in the Witch Head sector where i was looking for barnacles...recalled after 30" i track my ASP coming down snd then...nothing...tried to recall no option available! The ship dissapeared (or crashed on re-entry??). I was stuck there with the SRV. Reloged (not horizons ) and nothing

I had to self destruct and rebuy (money its not an issue ) but really annoying with all the data i lost

Sounds like he was at the ancient ruins site. There have been a few Cmdrs there just killing parked explorer ships for kicks.

Try reloading the non-Horizons version. If that doesn't work, he may have actually destroyed your ship and you are genuinely stranded in an srv. If that's the case, contact support, since a game crash contributed to the loss of ship they should be able to replace it.

Rule #1 : you do not ever leave your Ship parked at a Ganker-infested hotspot in Open Play ;)
Rule #2 : if you want to see the Ancient Ruins in their original State, you basically have to ensure you're alone at the site. Otherwise you might find everything already looted already... Kinda sucks, but that's basically how it works.

Anyway, the hint of trying to launch the Game in non-Horizons mode (V1.7) is your best bet.

Lol, to be sure: as long as you are online.

So it used to be that when you logged off in your SRV, your ship disappeared. That still happens. But when you log on, your ship isnt magically moved into space, its placed back where it was. So if you log-off with a ship on the surface, when you get back you just drive to it. The 'recall ship' is disabled until you dismiss it first.
