Similar happened to me - a update kicked in when I tried to play, but it was an Xbox update. Was so excited, only to have my hopes dashed.

I took two really well paying combat missions yesterday before ending the game (I was looking for new ones for quite a while now) in order to continue them today - being well aware that they will be wiped during the update.
Which is the best way to "force" fate, isn't it?

This was a very unusual Beta. I usually test, report, return to play the regular game, keep an eye on the forums for specific tests to do and return to testing after a week or so, repeating the cycle. This Beta however, kept me in Beta... I wasnt able to switch back to 2.2, because 2.3 does so many things better than before and added so many cool things, that i simply lost the fun in playing 2.2... I am really excited to see all the awesome features and improvements go live.

Well done Frontier and good luck on release day! Ready to continue the journey o7
